Ramadan is expected to begin 8 February 2027, subject to the moon sighting. Sponsorship opens before it starts.
Which nights
Iftar dinners at ICD are held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and on every night of the last ten days of Ramadan.

Weekend iftars are free and open to everyone, provided by sponsors from the community.
What sponsoring involves
- You provide the meal for the night you book — cooked, catered or arranged with the masjid.
- Slots are four hours, covering set-up, maghrib, the meal and clear-up.
- Confirm your headcount and menu with the masjid in advance.
- Sponsorship may be given as sadaqah on behalf of a family member, living or deceased.
- If you are unsure what a night costs or how many to cater for, write to the masjid first and someone will talk it through with you.

Once a night is taken it is marked here, on our events calendar, and on the screen at the masjid. To change or cancel a booking, please contact the masjid — bookings cannot be changed from the website, so the night can be offered to someone else.
